WYD Montreal or Diocesan World Youth Day has been a yearly staple for many of us. Since Palm Sunday is only a few weeks away, some may be wondering if there is any news or updates about it.
As of 2021, Pope Francis has transferred the celebration of World Youth Day from Palm Sunday to the Feast of Christ the King. So, WYD Montreal will still take place this year just later than expected in November 2021.
To ease this transition, we still want to do something around Palm Sunday to help our communities enter into Holy Week.
So, Saturday, March 27, from 2 to 4pm, Our Living Hope is a virtual mini-retreat for teens (13-17) and young adults (18-35). This retreat encourages a rediscovery of Holy Week and aims to inspire young people to go on a spiritual pilgrimage on the Way of the Cross.
