KNOWING AND DETECTING STRESS and STRESS MANAGEMENT STRATEGIES

Stress seems to be everywhere in life, at school, at home, at work, etc. Stress can be a great ally in adapting to life, but chronic stress can be linked to many mental (depression, anxiety, burnout) and physical health concerns (headaches, muscle tension, heart problems, etc.). Knowing how stress affects our body and how to make it an ally is essential.
You will learn how to detect stress and its mechanisms, its impact on physical and mental health, and how poorly managed stress contaminates our relationships.
You will learn how to manage stress with strategies based on recent discoveries as well as how to develop the ability to manage stress as a family or group.
Stress management puts you in charge of an overall improvement in your quality of life and relationships.
God is greater than our STRESS, our fears and anxieties, and desires us to live in his peace.

      FAQ

What if the group leader or assistant cannot attend?

Please note that these sessions have been built with you and the pilgrims in mind, and these dates have been communicated to group leaders upon registration. We understand that we all live very busy lives.

If you cannot fulfill your commitment:

      1. Name someone from the group to attend the day on your behalf, and to communicate the information to the group. This person must register to the session.
      2. The group leader must send an email to jmjwyd@diocesemontreal.org and CC the person attending the retreat on behalf of the WYD group. In the email, the group leader must name the person attending who will receive the information and who will pick up the kit on behalf of the group. We encourage this person to bring an electronic copy of this email to the retreat.
Can someone pick up a portion of the WYD GROUP’s kit and another person pick up the remainder? Can individual pilgrims pick up their own kits?

NO. The kits of the entire group will be distributed to the WYD group leader or the person designated to pick up the kits for the group. Partial pick up of kits will not be accepted.

If I ordered an additional kit, who can pick it up?

Additional kits (not included in the WYD registration) will be distributed to the person whose name is on the order form.

Can we pick up the kit at any other date or location? Can we pick up our kits at the airport?

NO. There will not be another date to pick up the kit.
