Celebrating a Year of Hope!

At the invitation of Pope Francis, young people worldwide are called to Rome for the Jubilee of 2025! This year’s theme centres on hope, uniting us around the belief that hope never disappoints. Whether you join us in Rome or participate from home, we invite you to open your heart and journey with us through this extraordinary year.

Join Mission Jeunesse and Spiritours as we lead a special pilgrimage to Rome designed for young adults ages 18 to 35 years old. Throughout this week, we’ll gather to meet, pray, explore Rome, and deepen our faith in the hope that sustains us all. Pope Francis will close the week with a powerful celebration that brings the spirit of unity and renewal to everyone.

Start by participating in the Youth Jubilee in Rome. Continue to Assisi to explore the inspiring life of Saint Francis and St. Claire of Assisi, and visit the tomb of Blessed Carlo Acutis. Itinerary*
Embark on a profound spiritual journey as we explore northern Italy and experience the Youth Jubilee in Rome. Starting in Venice and traveling through Padua, Turin, Sassello, Florence, and Siena, we’ll visit sacred sites like the Shroud of Turin, the home of Blessed Pier Giorgio Frassati, and places associated with St. John Bosco and St. Dominic Savio. The journey culminates in the vibrant Jubilee celebrations in Rome, followed by a visit to Assisi to see the tomb of Blessed Carlo Acutis and the sites connected to St. Francis and St. Clare of Assisi, with a final free day in Rome before heading home.

Arrival in Venice, transfer to Padua (45.5 km).
Free day in Padua or Venice (transport not included).

3. Tuesday, July 22, 2025: Padua – Turin
Mass at the Cathedral of Saint Anthony of Padua.

Day in Turin following the footsteps of Don Bosco.

Itinerary*

This pilgrimage begins with the Youth Jubilee in Rome, in response to Pope Francis’ invitation to a profound encounter with Christ and fellowship with young people from all over the world. Then on to Assisi, where you’ll visit the tomb of Blessed Carlo Acutis and the sites of St. Francis and St. Clare of Assisi. The journey continues to San Giovanni Rotondo, a pilgrimage site dedicated to Padre Pio, where you’ll discover shrines steeped in history and faith. A relaxing break on the region’s picturesque beaches offers you a moment of serenity before heading to the Abbey of Mont Cassin, a site steeped in monastic tradition.

Coach trip to San Giovanni Rotondo. Visit the Sanctuary of Padre Pio, including the Basilica of Our Lady of Grace, the New Basilica, the Crypt, and the Monumental Via Crucis. Visit the Sanctuary of Saint Michael the Archangel. Return to San Giovanni Rotondo for the night.
