At the heart of the Vigil of Christ the King is an invitation to welcome Jesus, the King who came to save, into our lives through the Blessed Sacrament. As a key moment of WYD Montreal, it is also an opportunity for our local Church to pray for the youth of our diocese who are the “indispensable bearers of the dynamics of the Kingdom of God, the hope of the Church and the world”” (St. John Paul II, 1984).

On this special occasion, those who minister to young people from across the diocese will be blessed and sent on mission by our Archbishop.

The Vigil of Christ the King is an evening of adoration, music, prayer and witness that will take place on Friday, November 18 at 7:00 pm.
